This guy, Mai Tai, went through a beautiful color change and developed his blue directly through ontogenesis. By the time he became a yearling, he had already developed a great amount of blue. He has some incredible genetics. Sire is Aquaman, which is a full sibling to Aquagirl, Calico, and Tim Morris's male that produced the amazing Mr. Blue. Those animals are all also very closly related to Powder, Tim Morris's female (that produce Mr. Blue), Joan Collins and many other exceptional animals. Mai Tai's dam is the beautiful "My Song". Her sire is "Head", which played an important role in the famous "Carolina clutch", being the sire of Carolina. My Song's dam is a full sibling to Ol' Yeller and is a beautiful animal.
